Hard ball like thing under my skin?

So I had surgery recently on the 3rd of February. I developed this ball 2 days or so after my stitches got taken out. It's hard like a rock and is small oval shaped. It hurts to move it sometimes. Yesterday it felt kind of mushy, then it slowly formed to a rock hard oval again. It's quite sensitive to the touch & i don't know what to do. My doctor said put warmth on just that area, which has not helped AT ALL. Help?

I'm 16 and 4'10. My dad is about 5'7, my brother is about 5'9 or 5'10 and my mom is 4'11. For the past 3 or 4 years, I have not been growing much maybe about a few centimeters. You need to stop and take a deep breath and figure all this out. Heart surgery is very common anymore so I am sure he will come through this. There are some things that you need to accept such as not being able to work unless someone you work with live near you that you can ride with. Let them know about your dad and you may get some volunteers for that. The voluntary hu=ours may have to wait for a while. Depending upon your age, you may see about getting your license to drive since that would be a help for both your mom and your dad. Keep you hopes up and this will be over soon and you will be a stronger person because of it although it may not seem like it now. I hope you Dad has a fast recovery!!

So my friend is 17, and shes been making one bad decision after the other. First she wants to waste all her time and energy on her bf (or ex bf now i guess) who is 25 and seriously does not care about the girl at all, he just lies to her, cheats on her, and blows her off and he has a history of hitting women. When she starts realizing that he dosent respect her, her idea of getting over it is finding a 28 year old sugar daddy who is a bit of a creep and is a bit on the controlling side. Now her parents are on the verge of kicking her out and her solution to this is that if they do she is going to move in with the 25 year old. So, just two days ago I found this small hard lump on the outer lip of my vagina. It hadn't been slowly growing, it just came out of nowhere. Ok so I got knee surgery clear back in September so it's been 6 months since I had the surgery. I had this plica tissue taken out because it was getting pinched inbetween my bones. And my knee cap was slanted so they did a lateral realse. And for a while is started to feel better and I could somewhat jog on it. So I decided to start doing some leg lifts to help streghthen it even more. I've been looking into alot of schools about becoming an Esthetician. Both are around 10k and said included in the tution is the books, kits, and uniforms. A little insight Please!!?

ok so I had surgery December 20, 2010 to remove stag three endometriosis. I started my period right on time two days later. when I went back 9 days later for my check up they put me on Nuvaring even though my body really can't handle all the hormones but we decided to try it anyway. I had been using the ring about 2 weeks and I started getting ovulation pains but just assumed it was the ring causing the cramps. well when it came time to take out the ring I did and didn't start my period until 5 days later on January 26. what I assumed was my period I guess. bled for a few days and put my ring back in on the right day at the right time. I didn't get ovulation pains at the beginning is this month like I should have had I ovulated. I shouldn't start my period till this Sunday The 19th. but for the past 3 weeks my boobs have been sore and even swollen. I was involved in a car accident back in July 2010 which damage by entire right side and some of my left. For a teen girl looks and hair is everything as you know. It is a pretty big shock initially but you do get used to it. Going out in public for the first time or two is the big deal. Shaving your hair is a nice idea--show of support and empathy, but it might make her feel as if it is drawing even more attention to the fact that she doesn't have her hair. Maybe instead take her out for a "Makeover " and let her pick out a good quality wig and have it styled. Get her some good quality glue on eyebrows(if she needs them). That will help her look and feel more normal right away and that is a big deal for the teen girl. 13 is a tough age without having to deal with all of the cancer issues so being there to help her through it is even more important than shaving your hair in my opinion. Almost 5 years ago when I was still in the Marines I had a mucous retention cyst removed from deep in my sinus'. My turbinates were also nearly completely closed so I am guessing those were bypassed somehow to allow me to breath through my nose. For about a month after the surgery I could breath fine. I stopped breathing in my sleep and that too stopped happening after the surgery. But a month after it all I started having problems breathing again. I started to get congestion again just as bad as before the surgery. But it was manageable with Nasal Spray. Nasal Spray is only supposed to be a short term solution and I have been using it for 5 years so I can just breath when I go to sleep. Now on top of everything I have a hole between my two nostrils thats only getting bigger. Is a mucous retention cyst a form of cancer? Can any of these problems I am experiencing be permanently resolved through surgery?

Is throat/neck pain normal one year after tonsillectomy?

I'm 24 years old and I had a tonsillectomy last January (2010). The left side was a straight forward tonsillectomy. On the right side the tonsil had attached itself to the back of my tongue and surrounding areas in my throat. The right side required tying off of blood vessels and stitches. Needless to say recovery took a few weeks and was pretty painful. Everything was better for a couple of months following this, apart from my jaw occasionally locked causing a painful click in the joint when trying to open my mouth. The lock jaw has become increasingly worse over recent months and I have developed a persistent pain in the right side of my throat and neck. The pain comes and goes, but is sometimes so severe that I am unable to swallow or eat. When really bad the pain radiates into my neck and ear. When drinking fluid I get a sharp stabbing pain in my throat which feels as if it is at the base of my tongue on the right side at the back of my throat. The pain is severe, as if there is raw skin exposed in my throat, but there is nothing to see in the areas of my throat that I can view with a mirror. Has anyone else had these problems with either pain or lock jaw after tonsillectomy, bearing in mind it is now thirteen months since my procedure?

My dog just had surgery on 2/14 to remove her anal gland. They also removed a lump from her right throax region. my boyfriend, me and students are in my science class and my teacher was there too. One student got in an argument with her and i guess he threw a cylindrical jar at the teacher and she got cut (looked like a Pringles can, only glass). I mention this to my boyfriend. He says oh well. we quietly sit on the bed and we start to hear something outside the door. Windows XP startup problem?

When I started up my computer this morning it was working just fine, but then I shut it down and as soon as it shutdown I accidentally pressed the power button the second it shut down and now it is not loading Windows XP properly. It brings up the page before the startup with the system recovery and whatnot on it, then it goes to the options that let me choose how I start Windows XP. I have tried all of them and they give the same response where the Windows XP bar starts to load, stops midway, and then flashes a blue screen and starts the whole process all over again. Anyone have an idea as to what is happening and how I can fix it without having to set my computer to factory defaults? This has happened before and I thought it was a virus but apparently not...

Many years ago I broke my leg and had a tib fib fracture. They told me I would be in a cast for 6 weeks but it wound up being 6 months. The leg was never set properly so there was a gap in between the bone that had to fill in. I now have a bump on the bone of that leg. That in itself does not bother me. What bothers me is that since then I have had nothing but foot problems. I have had to have 3 morton neuroma surgeries and one bunion surgery and a bone removal due to a very painful callous. There is tremendous swelling in that foot along with major scar tissue. There is much pain on the bottom on my foot and walking at any length is almost impossible due to pain, Does anyone have any suggestions? When my leg was set it was back in 1991 and then they did not do surgery to set the leg. They set it in the office with my mom pushing down on my leg while the Dr. pulled and I screamed.

I had ACL reconstructive surgery in October 2008 and I have been having non-stop problems with my knee.?

I had a nerve block for my surgery and I even 6 months after my surgery I still couldn't feel parts of my leg. Almost 2 and a half years later I still cant feel parts of my leg. I also have a very hard lump under my knee cap. (a screw maybe?) It is only a few layers of skin to being completely exposed! I need to lose weight by summer time?

All you need to do is exercise for about an hour, not eat junk food and eat just a little less. On the weekends you can eat a couple of chips here and there but don't go overboard. Sometimes you have to give in to your craving so you don't get all crazy. Try to do a sport, that way you can exercise without knowing you are. And dont starve yourself or anything, cause once you stop you'll gain it all back. Hope I helped and good luck! :)

Hi all, it has been about 2 months since I had upper and lower jaw surgery, and I have noticed a major facial difference although, surprisingly, I'm not sure I'm happy about some of the differences I see. Right now, it just looks like I am swollen from the upper lip down and through my cheeks. I just wanted to know if it is possible that this could be swelling still even after all this time, or if this is permanent. I've been told by my surgeons this wasn't a standard surgery, with a movement of something like 7 mm on back on the lower jaw and a smaller movement forward on the upper. Jammed finger & healing time?

About 2 or 3 weeks ago I fell & jammed my left middle finger (no sarcastic comments please). I'm left handed. I write a lot as well as lift heavy weight frequently for my job. If you've only been together 6 months, and he's already talking about having kids, you need to nip that in the bud RIGHT now. Does he see himself having kids with you in the future? That could be why he's talking about it. If he really does love you, maybe he's just fantasizing about what could be. Usually that's the woman, but men can do it too. I know a girl who has her whole life planned out. When she's going to get married, how many kids she'll have, where they'll live, etc... I really need help! Don't know what to do about job situation?

I am currently attending college full time and I only have about two semesters left before I graduate. Originally I went to a college out of state, but after the first year it was way too financially straining and I had to return closer to home (I pay for my own education). I have had a bunch of jobs within the last year, mainly serving/waitressing. I absolutely HATE waiting tables but its pretty much the only thing I have found that makes decent money. He was calling her babe and sending her videos of who knows what. It gets worse. I confront him about it, and he makes up this excuse that he was offered a gift card that he had to give his email, and he got all this porn as spam. But I said if it was spam, why are you replying and the messages end up in your sent box? He started making me feel guilty and turning the tables on me. I had just been crying because my mom had been verbally abusing me in the car about my weight, and I had cried twice. He asked me if I trusted him, and I said, "Yes, until today."
