You need to stop and take a deep breath and figure all this out. Heart surgery is very common anymore so I am sure he will come through this. There are some things that you need to accept such as not being able to work unless someone you work with live near you that you can ride with. Let them know about your dad and you may get some volunteers for that. The voluntary hu=ours may have to wait for a while. Depending upon your age, you may see about getting your license to drive since that would be a help for both your mom and your dad. Keep you hopes up and this will be over soon and you will be a stronger person because of it although it may not seem like it now. I hope you Dad has a fast recovery!!
