What are the chances of a mucous retention cyst in my sinus' returning?

Almost 5 years ago when I was still in the Marines I had a mucous retention cyst removed from deep in my sinus'. My turbinates were also nearly completely closed so I am guessing those were bypassed somehow to allow me to breath through my nose. For about a month after the surgery I could breath fine. I stopped breathing in my sleep and that too stopped happening after the surgery. But a month after it all I started having problems breathing again. I started to get congestion again just as bad as before the surgery. But it was manageable with Nasal Spray. Nasal Spray is only supposed to be a short term solution and I have been using it for 5 years so I can just breath when I go to sleep. Now on top of everything I have a hole between my two nostrils thats only getting bigger. Is a mucous retention cyst a form of cancer? Can any of these problems I am experiencing be permanently resolved through surgery?
