Why can't i connect my ipod to itune?

Hey please help. My IPod is disabled and say that i have to connect it to itunes. But when i connect it nothing happened. I tried holding power button with menu button to take recovery mode - nothing happend, no itunes icon is not shown, holding menu button while connecting cable, but nothing happened. And i don't have the same pc i sync it with Please help.. I tried everything.. :(
