Do you believe you can make a difference?

Rosa Parks was a spearhead in the civil rights movement, as was Martin Luther King. Yes, I feel one person can make a difference, but I agree with sociologists, that if it wasn't that individual, it would have been someone else. The timing would be different. People are mostly followers and it does frequently take one individual to start a mass movement. The individual does matter, it just doesn't necessarily mean it has to be any particular one.
