Question abou this genetic thing?

I am male and 17 with degorgies syndrome which is also known as vcfs and I would like to know does vcfs cause mental retardation? I would like to know. I have it with ASD and aspurgers but when I was 3 days old I had open heart surgery and I wonder having that as a baby can make you have some sort of mental problem. I also got ASD and VSD heart defects and I would like to know does degorgies syndrome affect my life expectancy? I would like to know.
