Why are the majority of British doctors on the NHS middle class and snobby.?

Whenever i go to see a doctor i get the feeling as if they are rushing me and don't really care about my problem (like a number)--and ALL of them seem as if they are very snobby all the time and talk to you as if you are stupid in that very middle class tone, so why is it there are no working class doctors on the NHS or any surgery for that matter.
