Anorexia.. speed and recovery etc...?

Im just curious, I know this is a dumb question. But when someone starts developing anorexia they limit their diet right? well how quickly do things happen after that. like, how quick before they eat nothing, how quick before they lose weight ( it becomes noticeable ) how quick before organs shut down. etc etc.
